Every garment at Maurice Sedwell is Ultra Bespoke. There is no standard block, no version of another client's pattern adjusted to fit. Your pattern is drawn especially for you, from direct observation and measurements.

This responsiveness to the client's requirements, coupled with the benefit of our experience, produces optimum results. For us, there is a big distinction between "good" and "perfect". It is of paramount importance that we are entirely happy with the end product and the customer is confident in his or her sartorial presentation.

A commission at Maurice Sedwell begins with a consultation. Our aim is to get to know you, your lifestyle, career and purpose. Thereafter, we will select fabrics, observe your unique figuration and take your measurements.

From your measurements and observation, a personal pattern is drafted. The cloth is cut, and a first fitting is prepared.

At the first fitting, we establish the idiosyncrasies of your figure and create your master pattern. The following fittings are to establish the comfort, silhouette and finer personal details. When the suit is completed, around 120 hours of highly skilled craftsmanship have been invested to achieve a perfect outcome. Your cloth is selected from the finest mills in the world.
