Every stitch carries a story, and few are as remarkable as that of Professor Andrew M. Ramroop OBE.

From his beginnings in Trinidad to becoming a master tailor at the heart of London’s Savile Row, Ramroop’s life has been shaped by ambition, resilience, struggle and an unwavering devotion to his craft.

Speaking at the Delhi launch of Bespoken: From Tunapuna to Buckingham Palace, author Ashok Kumar Bal described Ramroop’s story as “nothing short of a modern-day epic” , a journey that ultimately became a testament to the triumph of the human spirit.

For Ramroop, the philosophy is simple: true style should outlast fashion. His own suit, made in 2002, remains a living example of his belief in craftsmanship and sustainability.
